Why We Practice Small Class Big Education

If you think we are pitching small classes against big classes, then you are right. Comparing the two types of class- a big one and small one- you will discover they have identical features. The all have classes, students, and qualified teachers. Yet, there are major differences that we pride ourselves in. If we don’t toot our horn, who will?
Look at a class with 30 children and that of 10 children, which would you expect a child to learn more from. Here are some reasons our smaller classes equals a big education your child needs.

1. More Face to Face Time: Let’s assume we have a class of ten, your child will have more face to face time with their teachers. When teachers do this, their pupils develop better and will work with the feeling that they care for. Their performance skyrockets when they feel the people they look up to care about them.
2. No Hiding Place: A class with a larger number tend to have the shy or quiet ones hiding behind their friends or cliques. In our type of school, the interaction between the pupils and the teacher is tight.
3. Issues Are Easily Identified: If a child has any educational weakness, we discover it on time because the pupils are few in numbers.
In a class with about 30 students, the teacher will casually glaze over the assignment or work and point at their flaws. But a teacher with fewer classes will identify the issues each pupil is facing and use it to train them.

4. Cohesion: In a larger class, cliques would mar any attempt at getting unity. But with a smaller class, they have the chance of building a stronger relationship. A cohesive class will definitely get the support of members of the class.

5. Better Teacher Relationship: Having a relationship with pupils help pupils attain more in everything they do. As explained before, having quality time for the pupils give the children the opportunity to seek out their strength, weaknesses as well as their needs.
6. Students’ Engagement: With a few numbers of pupils in our class, our teachers have different opportunities to engage each child in their class activities.

7. Speed of Light: Seeing that they are not much, the teachers and the pupils work faster. That way, they cover more ground and do more practicals.
8. Research Never Lies: A research done at American NCTE (National Council of Teachers of English) shows that pupils in small classes excel in all subjects.
