Minders Montessori School Celebrates World Book Day

On the 2nd of March 2018, staff and pupils of Minder’s Montess ori school celebrated the World Book Day by visiting a nearby public school and gifting fellow pupils storybooks. World Book Day is an international day set aside by UNESCO to celebrate authors and reading. To commemorate this day, Minders pupils and staff visited Adeniyi Jones Nursery & Primary School and shared reading moments with the pupils and gifted them with story books and other educational materials. Speaking during the event, the School administrator at Minders School, Mrs Tumininu Akinduro, emphasized the need to encourage a healthy reading culture among children. She pointed out that reading was a big focus in Minders and it was only natural for them to extend the gesture to the neighboring public school.
